My name is Georgios Galyfos and I specialize in developing games and applications for mobile devices.
My Android app "SUPERLEAGUE mobile" recently won the 1st place award in the HTC Greek Android Developers Challenge, in the "Brains & Puzzles & Sports category". My other Android app, "SPORTS TREK", has been voted 5th in the Travel category of Google's 2nd Android Developer Challenge.
I have been using Java for over 6 years, specifically on J2ME, developing games for mobile devices and on the Android OS, developing applications. I have also recently been working on objective-C, developing applications for the iOS.
In the past I had been involved in the development of game titles for major clients in the US and Europe, working for a company in Galway of Ireland. The games I have worked on are Nip/Tuck (Warner Bros), Greek Games (Starwave mobile), ESPN Kickboxing, Scarface & Relic Runner.
I have a strong mathematical and physics background, being a graduate of Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I also hold a Masters degree in Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems from Heriot-Watt University.
